HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-5606 " CITY OF PLYMQt1T8 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the day of August , 1984. The following members, were present: yor Davenport, none Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and saved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 560 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 304 MISSION HILLS PARR 6TH ADDITION/41ST AVENUE WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: Mission Hills Park 6th Addition/41st Avenue by the installation of sanitary sewer and watermain laterals, storm sewer, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary appurte- nances, and the contract price for such improvement is $224,235.10 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $58,443.34, so the total cost of the improvement will be $282,678.44 and of this cost the City will pay $0.00 as its share of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TM CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $282,678.44. 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected without regard to cash valuation, as provided by lair, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The_ motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport.
