HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-549CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the day of August . 19 84 The following members were presents Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Nei is , Schneider and Crain The fol owing wkeWWrs were absent: none Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and mored its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 549 APPROVING LOT CONSOLIDATION AND LOT DIVISION FOR BEACON HEIGHTS PARTNERSHIP FOR PROPERTY LOCATED SOUTH OF 16TH AVENUE NORTH, WEST OF HIGHWAY 55, AND NORTH OF THE RAILROAD TRACKS (84063) WHEREAS, Beacon Heights Partnership has requested the consolidation of two platted parcels into one lot for the purposes of re -dividing the property for development; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the request and has recommended approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the following Consolidation: That part of Lot 7, Block A, PLYMOUTH ORCHARDS, HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA, according to the recorded plat thereof, lying south of the north 33.00 feet of said Lot 7; Also Block 7, BEACON HEIGHTS FIRST ADDITION, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota: EXCEPT that part of said Block 7 embraced within the circumference of a circle having a radius of 70.00 feet. The center of said circle describes as being a point 20.00 feet northly of the north line of the South 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 26, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota, on a line that is 62.00 feet easterly of the northerly extension of the west line of said South 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4. Also That part of vacated south half of County Road 6 lying southwesterly of the southwesterly right -sof -way line of State Trunk Highway No. 55 and easterly of a circle having a radius of 70.00 feet. The center of said circle described as being a point 20.00 feet northerly of the north line of the South 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 26, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota, on a line 62.00 feet easterly of the northerly extension of the west line of said South 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4. Subject to dedicated easements over and across the south and west 10.00 feet of said Block 7. To be consolidated into a single new parcel; and, hereby does approve the following Division; PLEASE SEE PAGE TWO Page two Resolution No. 84- 549 PARCEL A That part of Lot 1, Block A, PLYMOUTH ORCHARDS, Hennepin County, Minnesota, ac- cording to the recorded plat thereof, lying south of the north 33.00 feet of said Lot 1; Also That part of Block 7, BEACON FIGHTS FIRST ADDITION, lying west of a line drawn southerly from a point on the north line of said Block 7, distant 68.00 feet east of the northwest corner of said Block 7, to a point on the southeasterly line of said Block 7 distant 105.00 feet northeasterly of the southwesterly corner of said Block 7; EXCEPT that part of said Block 7 embraced within the circumference of a circle having a radius of 70.00 feet. The center of said circle described as be- ing a point 20.00 feet northerly of the north line of the South 1/2 of the South- west 1/4 of Section 26, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota on a line that is 62.00 feet easterly of the northerly extension of the west line of said South 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4. Subject to an easement for utility and drainage purposes over under across and through the north and south 10.00 feet, and the east and west 6.0 feet of the above described Parcel A. PARCEL B That part of Block 7, BEACON HEIGHTS FIRST ADDITION, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota lying easterly of a line drawn southerly from a point on the north line of said Block 7 distant 68.00 feet east of the northwest corner of said Block 7 to a point on the southeasterly line of said Block 7, distant 105.00 feet northeasterly of the southwesterly corner of said • Block 7, except that part of said Block 7 embraced within the circumference of a circle having a radius of 70.00 feet. The center of said circle described as be- ing a point 20.00 feet northerly of the north line of the South 1/2 of the South- west 1/4 of Section 26, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota, on a line that is 62.00 feet easterly of the northerly extension of the west line of said South 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4. Also That part of vacated south half of County Road 6, lying southwesterly of the southwesterly right-of-way line of State Trunk Highway No. 55 and easterly of a circle having a radius of 70.00 feet. The center of said circle described as be- ing a point 20.00 feet northerly of the north line of said South 1/2 of the South- west 1/4 on a line that is 62.00 feet easterly of, measured at a right angle to, and parallel with, the northerly extension of the west line of said South 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4. Subject to an easement for drainage and utility purposes over, under, across, and through the northwesterly, northerly, easterly, and southerly 10.00 feet and the westerly 6.00 feet of the above described Parcel B. FURTHER, that the City Manager be authorized to make the necessary special assessment corrections based upon City Policy when the Consolidation is approved by Hennepin County. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Moen , andupon vote being taken thereon, the ollowing voted in favor thereof: Mavor Davenport.
