HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-545CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 20th day of August , 1984. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils, Schneider and Crain ; The following members were absent: none Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 545 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF A UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENT LOT 8, BLOCK 4, KINGSWOOD FARMS WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a utility and drainage easement on Lot 8, Block 4, Kingswood Farms Addition; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was held on August 20, 1984 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851, as amended; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of August 20, 1984; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on August 20, 1984 to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of the utility and drainage easement on Lot 8, Block 4, Kingswood Farms Addition; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easement is not needed for public purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the following drainage and utility easement be vacated: A six foot wide drainage and utility easement adjacent to the easterly property line of Lot 8, Block 4, Kingswood Farm, Hennepin County, Minnesota, according to the recorded plat thereof. Said easement to be vacated begins 6 feet Southeasterly of the Northeast corner of said lot and terminates 6 feet Northwest of the Southeast corner of said lot. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by COuncilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen. Neils, Schneider and Crain The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. ete �* tet*
