HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-529CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 6th day of August 1984. The following members were present: MUor,Dayenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils, Schneider and Crain The following members were absent: none Councilmember Moen introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 529 ACCEPTING PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AMHURST NINTH ADDITION - STREET AND UTILITIES PROJECT NO. 451 WHEREAS, the developer of Amhurst Ninth Addition has petitioned the City to construct a 7 ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, drainage facilities, sanitary sewer, watermain and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, said preliminary engineering report was presented to the City Council August 6, 1984; and WHEREAS, the developer and owner have waived their right to a public improvement hearing; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: 1. Such improvements are hereby ordered as proposed in the development contract for Amhurst Ninth Addition. The petitioner has waived his right to a public hearing. 2. Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik b Associates are hereby designated as the engineer for the improvement. They shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement, and by change order, include this project with the 1984 Street and Utilities Improvements. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:M_ayor Davenport. Councilmembers Moen. Neils, Schneider and Crain . The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. ,t,ir* ,k,kr ,r► -it*
