Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a spprial meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on thee 23rrd day of July 1984.

Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 84- 505
1984 CITY MANAGER COMPENSATION
WHEREAS, the City Council has conducted its annual performance review of the City
Manager, including an evaluation of his achievement of specific performance standards
and objectives; and
WHEREAS, this Council has concluded that the overall performance of the City Manager,
as well as his achieving specific performance, objectives and standards, should be
recognized and rewarded;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that:
1. The annual salary of the City Manager be increased five percent (5%) to
10 $65,416 effective on his anniversary date, May 1, 1984, and that he be given a
$20000 performance achievement award for his performance in the past year;
2. His annual vacation accrual shall be increased an additional three (3) days
annually; and
3. He shall be eligible for a performance achievement award of up to $3,270
during the next year depending upon the Council's evaluation of his
performance and his achievement of performance standards and objectives.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Acting Mayor Schneider�j and upon vote being taken thereon, t e
