Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, gas held on the 2 rd day of Jul . 1984.
The following members were present:Actin9 Mayor Schneider, Counci mem ers NelTs "'"-
and Crain
The following members were sent: Mayor Davenport and Councilmember Moen
Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 84- 503
RESOLUTION APPOINTING 0. J. "LON" HEINITZ
TO THE PLYMOUTH PORT AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, the City Council established a Port Authority on June 18, 1984 by adoption
of Resolution No. 84-375; and
WHEREAS, the Port Author "y as established is to have three commissioners appointed
by the City Council, wh ,h appointments are to be made no later than December 31,
1984; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously appointed David Davenport and David Crain as
Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to make the last of the initial appointments to the
Port Authority;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
Minnesota, that 0. J. "Lon" Heinitz be appointed as a Commissioner of the Port
Authority of the City of Plymouth for a term expiring December 31, 1986.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Crain and upon vote being taken t ereon, the
ollowIng voted n favor thereof: Actino ayor Schneider, Councilmembers Neils
ine following voted against.or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
