HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-465CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 9th day of July , 1984. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, o n ilmembers Neils Schneider and Crain The following members were absent: Councilmember Moen Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 465 ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRELIMINARY REPORT AMHURST 9TH ADDITION - STREET AND UTILITIES PROJECT NO. 451 WHEREAS, the developer of Amhurst 9th Addition has petitioned the City to install a 7 -ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, drainage facilities, sanitary sewer, watermain and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, property benefited by such projects will be assessed for all or a portion of the cost of such improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended); and WHEREAS, the developer has waived his right to a public hearing; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the proposed improvements be referred to Bonestroo, Rosen, Anderlik b Associates for study and that the engineers be instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed by advising the Council, in a preliminary way, as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should be best made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of such an improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils, Schneider and Crain The following voted against or abstained:. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
