HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-462CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 9th day of July , 1984. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils, Schneider and Crain The following members were absent: Councilmember en councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 462 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID I-494/COUNTY ROAD 15 INTERCHANGE PROJECT NO. 129 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of I-494/County Road 15 Interchange; and WHEREAS, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Company Total Bid C. S. McCrossan, Inc. $4,042,206.62 Progressive Contractors, Inc. 4,145,070.29 Lunda Construction 4,258,656.82 Park Construction 4,295,381.42 Cy -Con, Inc. 4,335,769.00 Johnson Brothers Corporation 4,544,065.30 D. H. Blattner and Sons 4,612,255.50 AND, WHEREAS, it appears that C. S. McCrossan, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with C. S. McCrossan, Inc. in the name of the City of Plymouth for the construction of I-494/County Road 15 Interchange in the amount of $4,042,206.62. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. 3. The contract is contingent upon Mn/DOT plan approval. The mocion for the adoption of the fopgoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils, Schneider and Crain The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. gate ,tet* ,�
