Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was hold on the 2nd day of

Councilmember Moen introduced the following Resolution and moved

RESOLUTION NO. 84- 450
A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF
MAPLECREEK/MAPLEDELL AND MIDDLE EAST NEIGHBORHOOD PARKS
WHEREAS, the City has an approved Capital Improvements Program, and
WHEREAS, said program allocates funds for the development of Maplecreek/Maple-
dell and Middle East neighborhood parks during the year 1984, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the preparation of plans and
specifications for the development of these two sites, and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received and opened for the development of these
two sites in accordance with law, and
WHEREAS, the apparent low bid of Barber Construction is a qualified low bid,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that Barber Construction is awarded the contract for
the construction of Maplecreek/Mapledell and Middle East. neighborhood
parks in the amount of $158,333.40, and further, that the funding for
this project is to be taken as follows: $75,000 from Federal Revenue
Sharing, and $94,173.40 from Park Dedication Neighborhnod Parks account.
