Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 2nd day
of July , 1984. The following members were present: Actino Mayor
Schneider, Councilmembers Moen and Crain
The following members were absent: Mayor Davenport, t6uncilmember Neils
Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 84- 449
DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
STREET LIGHTING - CREEKWOOD HILLS 1ST, 2ND and 32D ADDITIONS
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Creekwood Hills Ventures requesting
installation of ornamental residential street lighting in the Creekwood Hills
lot, 2nd and 3rd Additions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A ceF tain petition requesting the improvement of Creekwood Hills lot, 2nd
and 3rd Additions by the installation of residential ornamental street
lighting, filed with the City Council on July 2, 1984, is hereby declared
to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected
thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes
Section 429.035.
2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affect property owners and they have
waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings.
3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed
to report to the Council with all convenienct speed advising the Council in
a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as
to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some
other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers
Iden and Crain
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
