HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-435CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a rpqnlar meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 2nd day of July , 1984. The following members were present: Acting Mayor Schneider Councilmembers Moen and Crain e following members were absent: Mayor Davenport and Councimem er. ei s Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 435 ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRELIMINARY REPORT OAKDALE IMEST 2ND ADDITION STREET AND UTILITIES PROJECT NO. 448 WHEREAS, the developer of Oakdale West 2nd Addition has petitioned the City to in^tall a 7 -ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, drainage facilities, sanitary sewer and water services, sidewalk, and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, property benefited by such projects will be assessed for all or a portion of the cost of such improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended); NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ' PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the proposed improvements be referred to Short -Elliott -Hendrickson, Inc. for study and that the engineers be instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed by advising the Council, in a preliminary way, as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should be best made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of such an improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Moen and Crain The following voted against or abstained:. none *tet �,k,it
