HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-427� CITY OF PLYlOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meetbq of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 2ndi day of Jul 1B4 . The following members were presents Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Schneider, Moen and Crain Moil" rs were absents Councilmember Nei is Coun ilmember Schneider introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 84-427 APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AND SITE PLAN AMENDMENTS FOR NORSTAN, INCORPORATED (84034) WHEREAS, Norstan, Inc. has requested approval of a Conditional Use Permit and Site Plan Amendments to operate an office facility in the Planned Industrial District, and to expand the parking facilities; and, a Variance from the Ordinance parking require- ments for the building at 15755 32nd Avenue North; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said requests at a duly called Public 10 Hearing and recommends approval of the Conditional Use Permit and Site Plan Amend- ments, and recommends denial of the Variances; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ' THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the reque., for a Conditional Use Permit, Site Plan Amendments, for Norstan, Inc., for the facility at 15755 32nd Avenue North subject to the following: 1. Compliance with City Engineer's Memorandum. 2. Submission of required Site Performance Agreement and financial guarantee for completion of site improvements. 3. Appropriate legal documents, as approved by the City Attorney, shall be recorded at Hennepin County on both properties, providing for the shared parking and drives. 4. The Conditional Use Permit is subject to all applicable codes, regulations, and Ordinances and violation thereof shall be ground for revocation. 5. The site shall be maintained in a sanitary manner. 6. All waste and waste containers shall be stored within approved designated areas as diagrammed on the plans dated June 4, 1984. 7. Any signage shall conform to the City Ordinance standards. PLEASE SEE PAGE TWO Page two Resolution No. 84-427 8. There shall be no outside display, sales, or storage of merchandise or related materials. 9. The intensity and type of uses in the buildings shall be limited to those which can function within the parking requirements of the Ordinance without obstructing the parking spaces, drive aisles, and fire lanes. No variances related to parking and uses are granted or implied. 10. Phase I approval is granted at this time; Phase II approval will require Planning Commission review and consideration of the parking situation, including possible variances, prior to approval by the City Council. All site Improvements will be constructed with Phase I. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted In favor thereo a Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Crain The following voted against or abstained: None ■hereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
