HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-415CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to d,.,e call and notice thereof, a regular- meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the - 2nd day of JJIy 1984. The following members were present? -7- i yor eider ounctlmembers Moen and -Crain- --------- ------------------- The following members were a sent: a_Yor-Davenport -an ouncr em Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 415 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF CERTAIN DRAINAGE EASEMENTS IN OUTLOT D, VICKSBURG WEST WHEREAS, a petition to vacate certain drainage easements in Outlot D, Vicksburg West was received by the City Council; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was held on July 2, 1984 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851, as amended; and WHEREAS, the notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of July 2, 1984; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on July 2, 1984 to inform any and all interested parties relative to the vacation of said drainage easements; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that certain easements in Outlot D, Vicksburg West Addition are not needed for public easements; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. That certain drainage easements for ponding (but not the 10 foot wide drainage easement, nor the 50 foot wide drainage easement) in Outlot D, Vicksburg West are hereby vacated. 2. That said vacation shall not take effect until the plats for Vicksburg West 2nd Addition and Steeplechase Addition are filed and recorded at Hennepin County. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the ollowing voted in favor thereof: Ar -ting Mayor- Schneider.
