Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and norord
is tion:
RESOLUTION NO. 84- 370
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONCEPT PLANS FOR
MAPLEDELL/MAPLECREEK AND MIDDLE EAST NEIGHBORHOOD PARKS
WHEREAS, the 1984 Capital Improvement Program calls for the development
of neighborhood parks in the Mapledell/Maplecreek and Middle East
neighborhoods, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously authorized the expenditure
of funds for these two projects, and
WHEREAS, concept plans have been prepared and presented to area
residents for these two parks, and
WHEREAS, the area residents and the Park and Recreation Advisory
Commission are in favor of the proposed plans,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the concept plans for the Mapledell/
Maplecreek and Middle East neighborhood parks are hereby approved,
and, further, the director of Parks and Recreation is authorized
to proceed with the preparation of plans and specifications and go
out for bid on these projects.
The notion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Schneider , and upon vote being takert.therean. the
