HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-368CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular sooting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was bold on Me 4th day of June , 1984. The following members were present:Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen. Neils, Schneider and Crain . The following. members were absent: none . Councilmember Moen introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 64- 368 ORDERING PUBLIC BEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF STREET RIGHT -IF -WAY LYING SOUTHERLY OF "PAR" PARCEL CH 13TH AVENUE IN SUBURBANDALE ON PARKER LAKE WHEREAS, the street right-of-way is no longer contemplated to be used for the public purposes for which they were originally acquired; and WHEREAS, the land is now excess to City needs; and WHEREAS, the following is a description of the requested vacation: Vacate all public roadway lying between the following two limes: Line One: Beginning at the Nortbaset corner of Lot 15, fleck S. thence Easterly to the Northwest corner of Lot 3. Block S. both in Suburbandale on Parker Lake, and there terminating. Line Two: Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 13, Block S, thence Easterly to the Southwest corner of Lot 3, Block S. both in Suburbandals an Parker Lake, and there terminating. AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said petition sad found the sans to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY TU CITY COONCIL OP YHE CITY of PLYMOUTH that it should, and hereby doss, establish the date of July Z, 1964. at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymoutb City Center. 9400 Plymoutb Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing ami said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said bearing as provided by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain 1 , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote n favor thereof: Mayor D,vennort, CoMMilmomers Moen. Neils. ' Schneider and Crain . The following voted against or abstained: Pgne Vbereupoa the Resolution was declared duly passed adopted.
