The following members were absent: None Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 341 AUTHORIZING THE PRIVATE SALE OF A TAX FORFEIT PARCEL BY HENNEPIN COUNTY WHEREAS, parcel identification number 32-118-22-21-0009 has been classified as non - conservation land by Hennepin County pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 282; and WHEREAS, the County has asked the City to either convey such land for public purpose or approve it for sale; and WHEREAS, parcel identification number 32-118-22-21-0009 is required for road right- of-way purposes for 12th Avenue North; and . WHEREAS, the City has determined that this road right-of-way function can be preserved over the parcel through perpetual easement rather than conveyance; and WHEREAS, the adjacent property owner has expressed an interest in acquiring this parcel; NOW, THEREFOhE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minesota, that it should and hereby does declare tax forfeit parcel 32-118-22-21-0009 a sub- standard parcel from a zoning and development perspective and authorizes the private s-' of said property to the adjacent property owner subject to a perpetual easement across over, under and through the entirety of the parcel to the City of Plymouth for road right-of-way purposes. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by council- membgr Moen s. and upon vote being taken thereon,_ following v0 n favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain.
