HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-338CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 21St day of May , 1984. The following members were present:Mayor_Dayenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils.'Schnefder and Crain . The following members were absent: none COuncilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 338 APPROVING PLANS AMID SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS PROJECT 129 - COUNTY ROAD 15/I-494 WHEREAS, pursuant to q resolution passed by the Council on May 3, 1982, the City's consulting engineer, Strgar-Roscoe, Inc., has prepared plans and specifications for utility and street improvements for an interchange at I-494 and County Road 15 (Carlson Parkway); and WHEREAS, the consulting engineer has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. . 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the offi- cial paper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for three days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 1984, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth Minnesota by the City Manager and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Clerk for five percent (52) of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Ceuncilmemher Mopn , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: mayor Davenport. Councilmembers Moen. Neils. Schneider and Crain The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. tet* �rx* drk+t
