HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-336CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof. a reaular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 21st day of may. 1984. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils, Schneider and Crain . The following members were absent: none Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 336 REIMBURSING DEVELOPER FOR WATERMAIN OVERSIZING ANHURST SIXTH ADDITION (79046) WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth and Ascension Evangelical Lutheran Church of Plymouth, Minnesota have entered into a development contract dated July 26, 1983 for the development of Amhurst Sixth Addition; and WHEREAS, as part of this development the developer was required to place an 18" watermain in lieu of rn 8" watermain in order to conform with the City of Plymouth overall water distribution map; and WHEREAS, it is the policy of the City of Plymouth to reimburse developers for the difference between an 8" and an 18" main; and WHEREAS, this amounts to $15,000; .NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the developer, Ascension Evangelical Lutheran Church of Plymouth, Minnesota, is to be reimbursed in the amount of $15,000 for watermain oversizing based on actual construction costs. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the funds be allocated from the Utility Trunk Fund. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils, Schneider and Crain The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
