Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a re alar meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 21st day of
May , 1984. The following members were presents -1y or Davenport,
ilmembers Moen, Neils, Schneider and Crain . The following members were
a sent: none
Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved Its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 84- 332
DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
STREET LIGHTING - AMHURST 7TH ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Laurent Development requesting
Installation of ornamental residential street lighting in Amhurst 7th Addition;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Amhurst 7th Addition
by the installation of a residential ornamental street light, filed with the
City Council on May 4, 1984, is hereby declared to be signed by the required
percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made
In conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035.
2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they have
waived their rights to public improvement and special assesment hearings.
3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to
report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a
preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to
whether it should best be made as propi._ed or in conjunction with some other
improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Moen 'and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof :Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils,
Schneider and Crain

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passe and -adopted.
