Pursuant to due call and notice thertof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 21st day of
1984. The following members were present:Ma_vor Davenport,
Councilmembers oen, Neils, Schneider and Crain , The following members were
absent: none
Couicilmember Neils introduced the foilowing Resolution and moved ;':s
adoption
RESOLUTION NO. 84- 307
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENTS
NW 1/4, SW 1/4, SECTION 26, TOWNSHIP 118, RANGE 22
WHEREAS, the petition to vacate certain drainage and utility easements in the NW
1/4, SW 1/4, Section 26, Township 118 was received by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the public hearing with respect to said vacation was held on May 21,
1984 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851, as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two
weeks prior to the meeting of May 21, 1984; and
WHEREAS, THE Council did hold a public hearing on May 21, 1984 to inform any and
all interested parties relative to the vacation of said easement; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easement is not in the
correct location;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH as follows:
1. That the following described drainage and utility easements be
vacated:
A 20 foot strip of land centered upon the following described
centerline;
The centerline of which is described as follows: Commencing at the
Northwest corner of the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section
26, Township 118, Range 22; thence East for a distance of 261.5 feet to
a point which is the point of beginning of the centerline to be
described; thence right at a deflection angle of 700, 261, 40" from the
North line of said NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4, for a distance
of 690.0 feet plus or minus, to the South line of said NE 1/4 of the NW
1/4 of the SW 1/4 and there terminating
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted In favor thereof:Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils,
,5eftiagr and Crain .
