The following members resent: were cti ng Mayo—r 5-chnei er , u rtambet�ben , Neils an Crain The following members were absent: Mayor Davenport Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84-300 AWARDING BID FOR THE 1984 REFORESTATION PROPOSAL WHEREAS, $26,000.00 has been budgeted for the 1984 Reforestation proposal to be carried out on City owned lands; AND, WHEREAS, In accordance with City bid specifications were prepared and distributed and bid proposals received and opened on April 17, 1984 AND, WHEREAS, the following bids were received: BIDDER AMOUNT Fairs Garden Nursery 19,280.00 Greenworks Inc. 18,610.00 Minnesota Valley 24,855.00 Hoffman -McNamara 20,886.00 Margolis 21,270.00 . Northern Landscape 22,655.99 AND WHEREAS, The bid of Greenworks Inc. is in conformance with City specifications for the plant materials and Greenworks Inc. is therefore declared the lowest re- sponsible bidder; -NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does accept the proposal of Greenworks, Inc. in the amount of $18,610.00 further, that funds for this proposal are authorized from account No. 206-206-810.26 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by . Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote n avor : ereo Acting Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Moen, Neils and Crain • The following voted against orabstained: none . Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
