uncilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoptLon:
RESOLUTION NO. 84- 295
DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
STREET LIGHTING - DEERWOOD ESTATES PLAT II
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Parklands Development Co. requesting
Installation of ornamental residentail street lighting in the Deerwood Estates
Plat II Addition;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Deerwood
Estates Plat II Addition by the installation of residential
ornamental street lighting, filed with the City Council on
May 7, 1984 is hereby declared to be signed by the required
. percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This
declaration Is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section
429.035.
2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners
and they have waived their rights to public improvement and
special assessment hearings.
3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is
Instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed
advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the pro-
posed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best
be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improve-
ment and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmgnber Crain , and upon vote being taken thereo, the
following voted in favor thereāOTT Acting Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Moen.

. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
