HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-285CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 7th day of M , 1984. The following members were presert: —Kc—ting M__a oa�r __ Schneider ounce members Moen Neils and Crain The fo lol—w members were absent: Mavnr navennort —_Cogcilmember_Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption RESOLUTION NO. 84- 285 ALTERING MUNICIPAL STATE AID HIGHWAYS WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of Plymouth, Minnesota that the streets hereinafter described should be altered as to their designation as Municipal State Aid streets under the provisions of Minnesota Laws of 1967, Chapter 162; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, COUNTY OF HENNEPIN, that the roads described as follows, to -wit: 1. Control Section 160 Segment 010 Change from termini: Zinnia Lane and CSAH 15 to Ridgemount Avenue at south city limits - segment length .26 mile . To termini: County Road 61 and CSAH 15 to Ridgemount Avenue at south city limits - segment length .12 mile 2. Control Section 165 Segments 030 and 032 Change from termini: 49th Avenue North (Hamel Road ) - Zachary Lane to .21 miles west of Nathan Lane - segment length total .64 mile To termini: 49th Avenue North (Hamel Road) - Zachary Lane at the _._. existing intersection of Zachary Lane and Hamel Road to .21 mile west of Nathan Lane - segment length .67 mile 3. Control Section 157 Segment 017 Change from termini: Xeniue Lane - 3220 feet north of County Road 61 to County Road 9 - segment length .51'mile To termini: Xeniun Lane - 3220 feet north of County Road 61 to County Road 61 - segment length .61 mile be, and hereby are altered as to their designation as Municipal State Aid Streets of said City subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Highways of the State of Minnesota; Resolution No. 84-285 Page Two BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed forthwith to forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Highways for his consideration, and that upon his approval of the designation of said road or portion thereof, that the same be constructed, improved and maintained as a Municipal State Aid Street of the City of Plymouth, to be numbered and known as Municipal State Aid Street. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote n favor thereof: Acting Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Moen, Neils and Crain The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
