HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-281CITY Of PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a re ular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 7th day of May , 1984. The following members were present: ALtir The following •r• CoMpQilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84-281 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS NORTHEAST TRUNK SANITARY SEWER - PROJECT NO. 903 WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 84-162, passed by the City Council on March 26, 1984, the City's consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associated, Inc., has prepared plans and specifications for utility and street improvements; and WHEREAS, the consulting engineer has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for three days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 31, 1984, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the 0 owing votea Invote avor ereo : Acting Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Moen. Neils and Crain Me following voted against orabstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
