Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 16th day of April . 19 84.
The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, ouncilmembers Moen, Rells,
Schneider and Crain
The following mewbers were absent: none
Councilmember Neils introduced the followl-g Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION 84-248
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
AN ANIMAL POUND AGREEMENT WITH FUNK ANIMAL HOSPITAL
FOR THE PERIOD OF MARCH 1984 TO MARCH 1985
WHEREAS, Plymouth City Code Section 915.15 provides that the City Council may provide
for a City animal pound either within or outside the limits of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City's animal control program requires the services of animal hospital
facilities; an(
WHEREAS, Funk Animal Hospital has provided such services competently in the past; and
WHEREAS, an agreement between the City and Funk Animal Hospital has been prepared for
a one year period beginning March 1984;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
Minnesota, that it should and hereby does authorize the Mayor and City Manager to
enter into an agreement for animal hospital services with Funk Animal Hospital for a
one year period beginning March 1984.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by.
Councilmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
'o owing voted in favor thereof: Ma,,,or Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils,
Schneider and Crain
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly pas and adopted.
