The following members were present:ayor avenport, ounce mem ers en; Reils, Schneider and Crain - The rs were sent: none Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its tion: RESOLUTION NO. 84-245 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HIRING OF B.R.W. AS A CONSULTANT FOR COMMUNITY CENTER COST ESTIMATE WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has an approved Capital Improvements Program; and WHEREAS, the approved Capital Improvements Program allocates $25,000 for the review and study of a community center facility, and WHEREAS, a citizens' committee is currently working on the review and study of a community center project, and WHEREAS, accurate cost estimates are necessary for the citizens' committee to make further recommendations to the community and City Council, and WHEREAS, the City Council solicited proposals from five different consulting firms, and WHEREAS, the City Council has intervi(wed five different consulting firms, and WHEREAS, the City Council has determiied that the April 4 proposal of B.R.W. best meets the needs for determining cost estimates, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RE��LVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the City Manaqer is authorized to enter into an agreement with B.R.W. for an amouiiz not -to -exceed $14,910 to complete cost estimates and other work outlined in their April 4, 1984, proposal to the City Council, and further, that the Finance Director is authorized to appropriate funds from the Park Dedication, Community Playfields, City Parks account for this feasibility study.
