The followift mea►bers were present: Mayor Daveneort, Councilmem ers oen�eils, Schneider and Crain r A&* Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84-244 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HIRING OF A LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT FOR MAPLEDELL/MAPLECREEK AND MIDDLE EAST NEIGHBORHOOD PARKS WHEREAS, the 1984 Capital Improvements Program calls for the development of neighborhood parks in the Mapledell/Maplecreek and Middle East neighborhoods, and WHEREAS, the City Council has previously authorized the funding of these two projects, and WHEREAS, submittals from architectural firms have been reviewed by the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission and the City Council and have been found to be in conformance with the City's requirements, and WHEREAS, Damon Farber and Associates have submitted the low proposal in the amount of $10,540, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract agreement with Damon Farber Associates for the design of Mapledell/Maplecreek and Middle East neighborhood parks at an amount not to exceed $10,540. Reimbursable expenses for mileage, blueprint reproduction, plan preparation, etc., will be allotted for above and beyond the $10,540. The notion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded h'y CoUncilmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor :Mayor Davenport, Counci lmembers Moen, Neils, Schneider and Crain TM following voted against orabstained: Qne 19nereupoan the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
