Neils, Schneider angel train The following members were a sent: none Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its as opt on RESOLUTION NO. 84- 236 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF A PORTION OF 16TH AVENUE NORTH ADJACENT TO LOT 1, BLOCK A, PLYMOUTH ORCHARDS AND BLOCK 7, BEACON HEIGHTS FIRST ADDITION WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Johnson Brothers Properties has petitioned the City Council for a vacation of a portion of 16th Avenue North adjacent to Lot 1, Block A, Plymouth Orchards and Block 7, Beacon Heights First Addition; and WHEREAS, the following is a description of the requested vacations: That part of the South 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 26, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota, lying southwesterly of the southwesterly right of way line of State Trunk Highway 55 and southerly of the center line of Old County Road No. 6 and northerly of the southerly line of said Old County Road No. 6 and lying southeasterly- of the circumference of a circle having a radius of 70.00 feet. The center of said circle described as being a point 20.00 feet northerly of the north line of said South 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 on a line that is 62.00 feet easterly of, measured at a right angle to, and parallel with, the northerly extension of the west line of said South 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4. That part of the northerly 17.00 feet of Block 7, BEACON HEIGHTS IST ADDITION, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota, lying southwesterly of the southwesterly line of State Highway No. 55 except that part of said northerly 17.00 feet embraced within the circumference of a circle having a radius of 70.00 feet. The center of said circle described as being a point 20.00 feet northerly of the north line of the South 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 26, Township 116, Range 220 Hennepin County, Minnesota, on a line that is 62.00 feet easterly of the northerly extension of the west line of said South 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4. The south 17.00 feet of the north 50.00 feet of that part of 16th Avenue North lying within Lot 19 Block A, PLYMOUTH ORCHARDS, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota, lying easterly of the west line of said Lot 1 and Westerly of the east line Of said Lot 1. AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said petition and found the same to be in order; PLEASE SEE PAGE TWO Resolution No. 84- 236 Page Two NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that it should, and hereby does, establish the date of May 21, 1984 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing on said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Moen ,and upon vote bein takenthereon, the following vote n favor t ereof: Mayor Davenport, C8ouncillmembers Moen, Neils, Schneider and Crain The following voted against or abstained: nqne hfreupon the Resolution was declared dVIX passed and adopted. ��*
