Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 16th .day of A ri.l .-1984. The following members were present: Major Davenpor , ouncilmembe?s Moen, • eis —' Schneider and Crain •-�--�-- r ollowing iiaiirs were a t:_ none swa sws afs Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adopt ua: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 229 APPROVAL OF LAND USE GUIDE PLAN AMENDMENT FOR THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has requested approval of an Amendment to the Land Use Guide Plan for the Area located west of Highway 101 and north of 19th Avenue from LA -1 (low density residential) to CS (service business; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered the request following a duly scheduled Public Hearing and has recommended approval; and, WHEREAS, this Amendment by the City is to assure that the Guide Plan and Zoning r:assifications of land in the City are consistent, as required by State law and City Ordinance; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THr_ CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by tree City of Plymouth for a Land Use Guide Plan Amendment subject to the following: The reguiding is based upon findings that the proposed Classification is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan Criteria; provides an extension of the existing retail area; and, the proposal would not adversely impact the City's utility and transportation systems. Approval is contingent upon, and subject to the required review and response by the Metropolitan Council.
