The 0 ow s were absent: lar meeting of the City Council of April 1984. a� Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 226 APPROVAL OF LAND USE GUIDE PLAN AMENDMENT FOR THE CITY OF PO',KMTH WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has requested approval of an Amendment to the Land Use Guide Plan for land located east of Niagara Lane and County Road 6 from LA -3 (high medium density residential), to LA -1 (low density residential); and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered the request following a duly scheduled Public Hearing and has recommended approval; and, WHEREAS, this Amendment by the City is to assure that the Guide Plan and Zoning Classifications of land in the City are consistent, as required by State law and City Ordinance; NOW, THEREFORZ, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, OMINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by the City of Plymouth for a Land Use Guide Plan Amendment subject to the following: the reguiding is based upon findings that the proposed Classification is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan Criteria; provides an extension of the existing residential area; and, the proposal would not adversely impact the City's utility and transportation systems. Approval is contingent upon, and subject to the required review and response by the Metropolitan Council.
