HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-224CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 16th day of April 1984. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils, Schneider and Crain Trm following members were absent: none Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RFSOLUTION NO. 84- 224 DENYING VARIANCES FROM THE SUBDIVISION CODE FOR LOT DIVISION FOR DEAN BARKLEY AND JOSEPH SCHEITLIN FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF 28TH AVENUE NORTH AND EVERGREEN LANE (84010) WHEREAS, Dean Barkley and Joseph Scheitlin have requested approval of Variances from the Subdivision Code to divide an existing parcel located at the northwest corner of 28th Avenue North and Evergreen Lane; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request and recommends denial; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does deny the request of Dean Barkley and Joseph 10 Scheitlin for Variances from Lhe Subdivision Code for Lot Division for the following reasons: 1. Compliance with the Variance Criteria as established in Section 500.41 of the City Code has not been demonstrated. 2. The division is not consistent with Shoreland Management Regulations. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils, Schneider and Crain The following voted against or austainea: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. dsk8-A
