Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 2nd day of April , 1984. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Counci mem ers Wein, Neils, Schneider and Crain The following members were absent: none Councilmember Schneider— introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84-210 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING - CREEKSIDE OF PLYMOUTH 2ND ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Dear R. Johnson construciton Co., Inc., requesting installation of ornamental residential street lighting in Creekside of Plymouth 2nd Addition; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Creekside of Plymouth 2nd Addition by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting, 1bsigned with the City Council on April 2, 1984, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. 2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they have waived their rights to public improvement and special assesment hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other Improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:Mayor Davenport.
