HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-202CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 2nd day of 1p April , 1984. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmemberc Moen Neils, Schneider and Crain The following members were absent: none Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 202 REDUCING DEVELOPMENT BOND AMHURST FIRST ADDITION (79046) WHEREAS. in accordance with the development contract dated November 1, 1979, Ban Con, Inc., developer of Amhurst Fi:ct Addition, has agreed to install certain improvements for said development; and WHEREAS, the developer has completed a portion of the street, utility and site grading as noted below; and WHEREAS, the developer has requested a reduction of the development bond to reflect the completed work; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the bonding requirements are reduced as follows: ITEM ORIGINAL AMOUNT NEW AMOUNT Street Construction $ 33,000 $-0- Sanitary Sewer 19,500 -0- Watermain 17,600 -0- Storm Sewer 28,500 -0- Boulevard and Drainage Swale Sod 2,800 200 Pond or Ditch Construction -0- -0- Street Signs 300 -0- Street Sweeping and Storm Sewer Cleaning 500 500 Park and Trail Improvements -0- -0- Maintenance of Erosion & Sediment Control Plan 500 -0- Site Grading 21,000 -0- Design, Administration, Inspection, As-Builts 14,844 -0- TOTAL $138,544 $700 That the letter of credit required be reduced from $3,100 to $700 to reflect the completed work. FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the street construction and concrete curb and gutter Is accepted for continual maintenance as of April 2, 1984. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted fn—favor thereof: Mayor Davenport Councilmembers Moen, Neils. The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. a.
