HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-201CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a reouul a meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 2nd day of April 19 84. The following members were present: The following members were a sent: none Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 201 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY JUNEAU LANE - 12TH AVENUE TO SOUTH LINE LUT II, BLOCK 2, SUBURBANDALE ON PARKERS LAKE ADDITION WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Paul and Wendy Engelman, Gary and Elda Sorenson, Maynard Thorpe and Sherwood Perl have petitioned the City Council for a vacation of the following street right-of-way: Juneau Lane as Platted within Suburbandale on Parkers Lake Addition from the South line of 12th Avenue to the South line of Lot II, Block 2, as extended Easterly; and also the adjacent street and utility easement. AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said petition and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that it should, and hereby does, establish the date of May 7, 1984 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the p-iblic hearing on said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted n avor ereo : Mayor Davenport, Councilmemhers Moan_-Npi1T Schnei er We following voted against ora stained: qone Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
