Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
2nd day of April , 19 84. The following members were

Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 84- 200
A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING APPROVAL OF
THE HENNEPIN COUNTY FEDERAL AID URBAN (F.A.U.)
PROJECT SUBMITTAL FOR PROJECTS WITHIN THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH FOR 1986 THROUGH 1988
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plymouth is the official governing body
of the City of Plymouth; and
WHEREAS, the City Council encourages and participates with improvements to obtain
adequate transportation facilities in the metropolitan area; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that these projects are warranted and
desirable for improvement through the Federal Aid Urban Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH
that the Transportation Advisory Board, the Metropolitan Council, and other boards
and commissions associated therewith are hereby advised that the City of Plymouth
concurs with and supports the Hennepin County F.A.U. project applications for the
following projects wtihin the City of Plymouth for time period 1986 through 1988:
County Project 6901 - CSAH 9 (Rockford Road) Grading, Surfacing
Channelization and Traffic Control Signals
from CSAH 18 to I-494
County Project 7408 - CSAH 10 (Bass Lake Road) Grading, Surfacing,
Channelization and Traffic Control Signals
from CSAH 18 to West of I-494
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to forward a
certified copy of this resolution to James M. Wold, Chief, Planning and Programming
Division, Hennepin County Department of Transportation, 320 Washington Avenue
South, Hopkins, Minnesota 55343.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
731lowing voted in avor t ereo :Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils,
Schneider and Crain
The following vote against or abstained:
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
