HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-189CITY (W PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 2nd day of April 1984. The following members were present: Mayor Dayenaort,�ouncilmembers Moen, s, "— Schneider and Crain The following members were t: manna f� Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution aed moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 189 APPROVAL OF A LAND USE GUIDE PLAN AMENDMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION MORTGAGE INVESTORS COMPANY, INC., AND GONYEA INVESTMENT COMPANY (84008) WHEREAS, Construction Mortgage Investors Company, Inc., and Gonyea Investment Company have requested approval of a Land Use Guide Plan Amendment from Planned Industrial (7.0 acres) and LA -1 (18.7 acres), to LA -2, located south of 15th Avenue North, north of 11th Avenue North, and west of Pineview Lane; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered the request following a duly scheduled Public Hearing and has recommended approval; •NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the Land Use Guide Plan Amendment that reclassifies approximately 7 acres Planned Industrial and 18.7 acres LA -1 to 25.7 acres LA -2, located south of 15th Avenue North, north of 11th Avenue North, and west of Pineview Lane, subject to the following conditions: 1. The reguiding is based upon the findings that the proposed classifications are conststent with the Comprehensive Plan criteria; and, that the reguiding will not significantly impact the sanitary sewer flow of the City. 2. Approval of the Land Use Guide Plan Amendment is contingent upon, and subject to the required review and response by the Metropolitan Council. 3. The Land Use Guide Plan Amendment will be finalized with Final PUD Plan and Plat approval, and an executed Development Contract. 4. A covenant be filed on the land to restrict the use to single family det:jched homes only. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Schneider , and upon vote being taken 'thereon, the follow -Ing voted In favor thereo :Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils, Schneider and Crain The following vot against orabstained: Whereupon the Resolution was declared dul—y—p—as—M and adopted. dsk8-A
