Pursuant to due call and notice thereof,'Iaregular meeting of the City
- Council. of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 2nd day of
April, 1984. The following members were present:Mayor Davenport.

Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION MO. 84-174
ADOPTING ASSESSMENT
STREET, CURB AND GUTTER AND UTILITIES - RIDGECREST 3RD ADDITION
PROJECT NO. 421
WHEREAS, in conformance with the development contract we have received a waiver
of assessment hearing from the s,roperty owner of Ridgeciest 3rd Addition waiving
their right to special assessm,nt hearings covering the installation of street,
curb and gutter, utilities ani: all other appurtenances;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREB`, RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a
part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment
against the lands named therein and each tract of land herein included is
hereby bound to be benefited by the proposed improvement in the amount of
the assessment levied against it.
2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over
a period of 5 years, the first of the installments to be payable on or
before the first Monday in January 1985 and shall bear interest at the rate
_ of 8% per annum from January 1, 1985. To the first installment shall be
added Interest on the entire assessment from January 1, 1985 until December
31, 1985. To each subsequent installment when due shall be added interest
of one year on all unpaid installments.
3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certifica-
tion of the assessment to the County Finance Director, pay the whole of the
assessment on such property with interest accrued to the date of payment to
the City Treasurer, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire
assessment is paid within thirty days from the adoption of this resolution;
and he may, at any time thereafter, pay to the City Finance Director the
entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid with interest accrued to
December 31 of the year in which the payment is made.
4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment
to the County Finance Director to be extended on the proper tax lists of the
County and such assessments shall be collected and paid over in the same
manner as other municipal. taxes.
5. The total cost of the improvement assessed by this resolution is $143,531.09.
6. These assessments were previously deferred by Reso,ution No. 81-194, Outlots
A and C.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen. Neils.
Schneider and Crain
