Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a s ecial� meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 26th day of
March 1984. The following mmbers were present-i-9—cMayor Schneider

Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 84-167
A RESOLUTION APPROVING EXPENDITURES FOR THE INSTALLATION OF
CANOE RACKS AT EAST BEACH

WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has an approved Capital Improvements Program,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously allocated $25,000 to be expended
on Systems Improvements, and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission has reviewed and
recommends that $600 be allocated for the installation of canoe racks
at East Medicine Lake Beach, and
WHEREAS, the Plymouth City Council has reviewed this recommendation and
finds it to be consistent with the overall Park System Plan,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Director of Parks and Recreation is
authorized to proceed with the installation of two canoe racks at East
Medicine Lake Beach at an estimated cost of $600. The $600 is to be
charged to the construction fund 401-000-501.00, and further, that said
racks should be rented out to Plymouth residents first, at $35 for the
season, and $40 to non-residents if any racks remain available.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Moen,
