HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-163CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special_ meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 26th day of March , 1984. The following members were present: Acting Mayor Schneider, Counci members Moen, Neils and Crain The following members were absent: Mayor Davertpor if iFlF 1,1f1F iF1Ff councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 163 ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS 45TH AVENUE - NATHAN LANE TO ZACHARY LANE PROJECT NO. 225 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 64-143 of the City Council, adopted the 5th day of March, 1984, fixed a date for a public hearing with respect to the improvement of 45th Avenue from Zachary Lane to Nathan Lane; and WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the installation of bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, watermain lateral and trunk facili- ties; and WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publica- tions of the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon the 26th day of March, 1984, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: 1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council Resolution adopted March 5, 1984. 2. Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates is designated as engineer for the improvement. They shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. 3. The project ordered includes all improvements on 45th Avenue and the structures to form Ponds NB -P3 and NB -P4. 4. Staff review of alignment of street with contract purchaser of school property and other affected property owners for possible alternate alignments. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Moen, Neils and Crain The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
