HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-153CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 12th day of 10 March 19 84 . The following members were present: Mayor Daven ort. Councilmembers Moen; Reils, Schneider and Crain the following members were sent: none RRR RRR RRR Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved u ai jlm RESOLUTION NO. 84- 153 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DEVELOPMENT OF TWO NEIGHBORHOOD PARKS WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has an approved Capital Improvements Program, and WHEREAS, the approved 1984 CIP allocates $160,000 to be expended on the development of two neighborhood parks, and WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission has reviewed and recommended that two neighborhood parks located in the Maplecreek/Mapledell ,...d Middle East neighborhoods be developed during 1984, and WHEREAS, the Plymouth City Council has reviewed this recommendation and finds . it to be consistent with the overall Park System Plan and Capital Improvement Program, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Director of Park and Recreation is hereby authorized to proceed with the development of two neighborhood 'parks as outlined in his memo dated March 9, 1984, and further, that the Finance Director is authorized to transfer the appropriate funds from the Neighborhood Park Account and Federal Revenue Sharing Account to the Construction Fund, 401-000-501.00, to finance these improvements.
