Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a secial� meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on tf 27th day of

Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved
its tion:
RESOLUTION N0. 84-113
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY LOCATED
AT 2965 NORTH COUNTY ROAD 18
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has an approved Comprehensive Park System
Plan, and
WHEREAS, said plan calls for the acquisition of a neighborhood park site
on property located at 2965 North County Road 18, and
WHEREAS, the City has an approved Capital Improvements Program allocating
funds for the acquisition of a neighborhood park at 2965 North County Road
18, and

WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission has reviewed and recommends
10 the acquisition'of this neighborhood park site, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and finds this recommendation in confor-
mance with the overall park system plan and Capital Improvements Program,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the City Manager is hereby authorized to purchase
approximately 16.6 acres of land from Duane and Beverly Lillyblad at a
cash price of $134,500, and further, that the City Manager is authorized
to proceed with the sale of part of the property to John DeVries for a cash
sale price of $24,150. All contract documents shall be reviewed and approved
by the City attorney. The City Finance Director is hereby authorized to
transfer $75,000 of federal revenue sharing funds and $15,350 from neighborhood
park funds, and $20,000 from storm water funds to cover the cost of this
acquisition.
