HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-111CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 27�h day of February , 1984. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Schneider and Crain The following members were absent: Councilmembersmoen,and Neils Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 111 FOR LAYOUT APPROVAL HIGHWAY 101 FROM COUNTY ROAD 6 TO COUNTY ROAD 24 WHEREAS, the Commissioner of the Department of Transportion has prepared a preliminary layout for the improvement of a part of Trunk Highway Number 187 renumbered as Trunk Highway No. 101 within the corporate limits of the City of Plymouth, from C.S.A.H. 6 to C.S.A.H. 24; and seeks the approval thereof; and WHEREAS, said preliminary layouts are on file in the Office of the Department of Transportation, Saint Paul, Minnesota, being marked, labeled, and identified as Layout No. 2, S.P. 2737-11 (101=187) from C.S.A.H. 6 to C.S.A.H. 24; NOW, THEN, BE IT RESOLVED that said preliminary layouts for the improvement of said Trunk Highway within the corporate limits be and hereby are approved with the following additions: 1. Add a channelized "free right turn" lane to the northwest quadrant of the C.S.A.H. 6 and the T.H. 101 intersection as part of Stage I. 2. Add a sidewalk along the east side of T.H. 101 between 19th Avenue, east and west, as part of Stage I. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor t ereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Schneider and Crain The following voted against or abstained: Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
