HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-086CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 6th day of February . 19B4. The following members were present: �yor Davenport. —councilmembe—ri—Tro—en-7RE17s were Cogncilmember Neils Introduced the following Resolution and moved Its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 86 AUTHORIZING TISCHLER AND ASSOCIATES, INC. TO PERFORM A FISCAL ANALYSIS IMPACT STUDY AND ACQUISITION OF THE SUPPORTING SOFTWARE PACKAGE WHEREAS, the City Council created a Community Development Task Force whose purpose was to review and recommend ways by which the City might Improve its fiscal forecasting capabilities; and WHEREAS, the Task Force recommended in its report dated November 21, 1983, that a fiscal analysis work program be undertaken; and WHEREAS, the firm of Tischler and Associates, Inc. was retained to complete the fiscal analysis work program at a cost not to exceed $7,000; and WHEREAS, the firm of Tischler and Associates, Inc. has submitted a proposal dated January 16, 1984 to the City to prepare a fiscal impact analysis report using various alternatives at a cost not to exceed $47,500; and WHEREAS, the firm of Tischler and Associates, Inc. will sell the necessary software package known as MUNIES at a cost of $26,150 to the City under a license agreement; and WHEREAS, the firm will prepare an Infrastructure report relative to future financial requirements at a proposed cost not to exceed $16,500; and WHEREAS, adequate funds in the amount of S97,150 are available in the Pro.fect Administration Fund to finance the above proposals; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, that the firm of Tischler and Associates, Inc. be retained by the City to conduct a fiscal impact analysis study and to perform all other assignments as detailed in the contractual agreement between the City and the above firm at a cost not to exceed $97,150.
