Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on t e 6th day of February 19 84, the followingmembers were present: Mayor Davenport, Counci mem ers Moen, and Scer following members were sent: Councilmember Crain RRR RRR _.gggpimember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its a option: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 85 A RESOLUTION REVISING CASH IN LIEU PARK DEDICATION FEES WHEREAS, in a report dated January 10, 1984, the City assessor has established a new estimate of the average of undeveloped commercial/industrial land in the community, and WHEREAS, the City Council policy establishing guidelines for determining land or cash in lieu to be dedicated for public park and playground purposes provides that each year the Council will review the cash in lieu fees to insure that fees are current, and 10 WHEREAS, a report has been submitted by the City assessor dated January 10, 1984, which reflects current trends in land values, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does amend the City policy adopting standards for determining land or cash in lieu to be dedicated for public park or playground purposes by revising No. 4. A., by the substitution of $2,500 per acre rather than $2,200 per acre, and further, that the City Manager is directed to make the aforementioned changes in said policy for distribution to interested parties. This policy will be effective for all building permits issued after April 1, 1984. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the fol owing voted in tavor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils nd Schneider ane rftlowlng voted against or a sta none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly pass pt RRR RRR RRR RRR
