Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meetino of the
City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 22rd
day of JdnUar , 19 84 . The following members were present:

Mayor Davenport introduced the followino Resolution and
moved its adoptlon:
RESOLUTION NO. 84-69
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPOINTMENT
OF ACTING CITY MANAGER
WHEREAS, in the absence of the City Manager the Council finds it desirous to
formally acknowledge an Acting City Manager; and
WHEREAS, the appointment of an Actina City Manager, in the absence of the Clty
Manager, can avoid delays in the processing of various documents;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does confirm that Frank Boyles
Is designated Acting City Manager in the absence of the. City Manaoer.
The motion for the adoption of the foreoolnq Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils , and upon vote belno taken thereon, the
following voted In favor thereof- M_ayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils,
Schneider and Crain
