Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, arpQnlar meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was herd on the
16th day of January 19_gL. The following members were
present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen. Neils. Schneider and Crain

Councilmember Moen introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 84-65
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWO 1984 MODEL 31,000 GVW DUMP TRUCKS
WHEREAS, the 1984 Central Equipment Budget contemplates the purchase of two
dump trucks; and
WHEREAS, on December 27, 1983, pursuant to State Statute, the Hennepin County
Cooperative Purchasing Group received and publicly read aloud sealed bids for
the purchase of 27,500 GVW dump trucks under Hennepin County Contract No. 4533;
and
WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Board, upon recommendation of the County Purchasing
Manager, has awarded this bid to the lowest responsible bidder, Lakeland Ford;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNE TA that it should and hereby does authorize the purchase of two 31,000
soGVW dump trucks from Lakeland Ford under the conditions and specifications of
Hennepin County Contract No. 4533 as follows:

7200 lb. front springs
Change to 31,000 GVW
22,000 rear axle
Delete backup alarm
Delete ether start

FURTHER, that the City Manager is hereby authorized to issue a purchase order in
an amount not to exceed $76,378.00 from Account No. 602-531-921 for the purchase
of these trucks.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
S Councilmember Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the

Schneider and rain

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
