Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meetinq of the
City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 9th
day of January , 19 84 The following members were Present:
Mayor Davenport, CounclimMilberbNeils; Schneider and Crain
The following members were absent: CouncilmeMber Moen

Mayor Davenport introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 84- 42
APPOINTING ACTING MAYOR FOR 1984
WHEREAS, Chapter II, Section 200.03(3) of the City Code provides that the
Council shall choose an Acting Mayor from amonq the members of the Council at
the first regular meeting;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that Councilmember Virgil Schneider is hereby appointed
to act as Acting Mayor for the Plymouth City Council during the year 1984.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
tea against or abstained: Councilmember Schneider
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted
