HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-033CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 96 day of January 1984Tile folio miembers were present: Mayor avenpor ficiIZ, Schnelder an r in The following members were absent: ounce ImemBer •+rt •�+ rwf Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84-33 APPROVING OFF -SALE INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSE WHEREAS, Charles Ashbeck and Robert Guth have submitted an application for the renewal of an Off -Sale Intoxicating Liquor License for The Colony Liquor Store, 15705 35th Ave., in accordance with Chapter XII, Section 5200, Plymouth City Code; and WHEREAS, the City Council had approved the original application for license at a public hearing held May 2, 1983 subject to the submittal of specific documents; and WHEREAS, the documents required before Issuance of the license have not been provided to the City Clerk to date; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Off -Sale Intoxicating Liquor License be renewed for The Colony Liquor Store, 15705 35th Ave., for a period from February 1, 1984 through January 31, 1985 subject to the provision of the following documents to the City Clerk: 1. Verification that back taxes are paid, to include interest and penalties. 2. Verification that the retail Federal Liquor Tax Stamp has been paid. 3. Verification that the First National Bank of Wayzata will supply the total amount of the loan. Any alternative financing will have to he further reviewed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by _ Maynr Davenport , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted In favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils, Schneider and Crain the voted against or abstained: none .
