HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-014CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 9th day of January , 1984. The followlna members were presente�ayor Davenport, Counci mem ers l�eils, Schneider and Crain The following members were absent: Councilmember Moen Councilmember Schneider introduced the following_ Resolution and moved its adoption RESOLUTION NO. 84- 14 ESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL STATE AID HIGHWAYS WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of Plymouth, Minnesota that the street hereinafter described should be designated a Municipal State Aid street under the provisions of Minnesota Laws of 1967, Chapter 162: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, COUNTY OF HENNEPIN, that the road described as follows, to -wit; 10th Avenue North from South Shore Drive to Nathan Lane be, and hereby is established, located, and designated a Municipal State Aid Street of said City subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Highways of the State of Minnesota, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed forthwith to forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Highways for his consideration, and that upon his approval of the designation of said road or portion thereof, that the same be constructed, improved and maintained as a Municipal State Aid Street of the City of Plymouth, to be num- bered and known as Municipal State Aid Street. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Davenport , and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils, Schneider, • and Crain The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly pass .
