HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-010CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the9th day of January , 1%4. The following members were present�ayor pavenport, ouncl mem ers eels, Schneider and Crain The following members were absent: Councl imemDer Moen Councilmember Schneider introduced the following_ Resolution and moved its adoption RESOLUTION NO. 84- 10 REIMBURSING DEVELOPER FOR WATERMAIN OVERSIZING NORTHWEST BUSINESS CAMPUS (80062) WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth and Prudential Insurance Company have entered into a development contract, dated December 17, 1981 and revised February 22, 1982, for the development of Northwest Business Campus Addition; and WHEREAS, as part of this development the developer was required to place a 16" and 24" watermain in lieu of a 12" watermain in order to conform with the City of Plymouth overall water distribution map; and WHEREAS, It is the policy of the City of Plymouth to reimburse developers for the difference between an 12" and a 1611/24" main; and WHEREAS, this amounts to $46,124.36; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE PITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the developer, Prudential Insurance Company, is to be reimbursed in the amount of $46,124.36 for watermain oversizing in the Northwest Business Campus, Phase II and III. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the funds be allocated from the Utility Trunk Fund. The motion for the adoption of of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Davenport , and upon vote being taken thereon, the followinn voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils, Schneider and Crain The 0 owti�Tf Ing voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
